The Self-Dumping Hopper, available as a 1 or 2 cu. yd trash dumpster makes it easy to store, move, lift, and dump site waste, food scraps, gravel, or other raw materials. Constructed from heavy-grade steel, the reinforced Hopper is perfectly balanced to roll forward when loaded, dump completely and automatically return to upright, locked position for reloading. The Hopper is attached to a durable base with a laser-cut track encompassing taper pins and a fork-mounted pocket that fits 36" or 48" pallet fork blades, depending on the size of the hopper you buy. The forks should never extend beyond the front of the hopper base.
After securing the Hopper to the forklift truck:
1. Transport the Hopper to the desired location.
2. Raise the Hopper to a safe dumping position.
3. Place the base of the Hopper onto the lip of the container the Hopper is dumping into, flip-over the orange handle latch to allow the trip lever to release waste.
Once the load has been emptied, upright the Hopper into the fill position by lowering the bucket, so the lip connects with the bulk container, rocking the Hopper back until the latch pin locks in place with the trip lever handle.
