The 68-inch Flail Mower is crafted for maintaining vegetation such as grass, overgrown brush, and vines. Its fast blade speed makes it perfect for managing your fields, orchards, vineyards, and other farm properties. Built as a rear-mounted mower compatible with Category 1 tractors and loaders with a 3 Point hitch. This model can handle up to 5 acres or more and features replaceable forged hammer blades that will cut and mulch wooded material up to 3" in diameter. It is powered by a PTO shaft with a heavy-duty gearbox that turns the knife shaft, cutting the mowed material down to a minimum, which allows it to decompose quickly. For best results, we recommend using a tractor with a minimum of 40 HP and a maximum of 60 HP. Their linear cut reduces the risk of thrown debris, making them a better choice for mowing areas with rocks, branches, and debris anywhere people may be present.
