The 48-inch Flail Mower with Hydraulic Side Shift is designed to make easy work of maintaining vegetation such as grass, heavy undergrowth, and tree prunings. With the ability to slide 8" in either direction (left or right), this flail mower makes those hard-to-reach areas an easy cut! This attachment is compatible with Category 1 tractors, loaders, and skid steers. It has a 3 Point hitch, which makes for a quick and simple installation. For best results, we recommend using a tractor with a minimum of 30 HP and a maximum of 40 HP. It is powered by a PTO shaft with a heavy-duty gearbox that turns the knife shaft, cutting the mowed material down to a minimum, which allows it to decompose quickly. We use forged hammer flails to ensure that perfect mowing, even when facing undergrowth and bushes. Even in rough terrain, the heavy roller in the back assists in smooth performance.
